Creature Creator available in New Zealand and Australia

With many thanks to gumby in the comments for the tipoff, the New Zealand version of the EA Store now has the Creature Creator listed on their front page.

I checked to be sure and I can confirm that if you add it to your cart you can indeed set your country to Australia in the order form, so it ought to go through just fine if you’re an Aussie.

And if you’re a Kiwi, step away from the sheep and go order already. :-)

If you order via the NZ EA Store and it works fine, please let us know in the comments so we can recommend it to others!

Courtesy of Ragman in the comments, you can also purchase a copy of the Creature Creator for digital download via the American EB Games website.

You could also order the boxed copy to be sent to you from there, but it’s a hefty $30 you have to pay for shipping. Not recommended for a $10 game!

EB Games have changed their Creature Creator page and you can no longer order it from them if you’re outside the US, Canada and Mexico.

oddlily in the comments also confirms that the New Zealand EA Store continues to accept Australia-based orders. If you haven’t ordered it yet, may want to get in soon. No telling when they’ll change their minds too!

    Hehe sorry Mythor but when i ordered and purchased it gave the option for putting in all the correct billing details and that it accepted my Aus Credit card.

    Great that the NZ site works. Btw can you let us know what exact price turns up on your billing statement for the exchange rate ??
  • The steps needed to take is select another country other than Aus, this clears the State field to a text entry, then you can type it in and select Australia as a country again.

    Its a big warning sign but they also have a manual process of the credit card I had to wait till this morning to get my key for the installer. Unless they stop it there upon verification of the country you live in I dont know. But they havent changed the mechanics of their payment processing IE barring Australia to be selected for that product.

    EBGames.com (now) says 'The download version is also only available for purchase in the United States, Canada and Mexico. ' on the Spore Creature Creator page. I don't know if this will make it unpurchasable, but just a heads up.

    I (Aussie) just bought a copy through the NZ EA site with no problem. :) Yay!

    I cant get to purchase it as when i try it comes up with shopping cart empty.
    However head to www.ebgames.com and do a digital purchase you get 3 activations for one key. I did it successfully. 9.99 US.
    They will ship a hardcopy if you are prepared to pay $29.99 US.
    I may purchase a 2nd Key to be able to install on all the PCs in the house as my kids and my Mrs are all enjoying playing the freebie at the moment. Will be expensive when full release is out tho as there is 5 total in the household hehe. Just out of interest for anyone who may ask ages and genders are 34F, 33M, 9M, 6F, 3F.
