I've made one legged creatures with short legs like that and wondered why they don't actually hop instead they just do that crazy twitchy movement. Even in one of the old creature game videos there was a creature that hopped. On a side note, I tried rating your creatures here and it will just say loading forever, but if I come back and try to vote again it will tell me that I have already rated the post, and it seems impossible because Notso Mellow doesn't have a rating yet.
