Name: Pentabulbicus

Description: The pentabulbicus is the current intergalactic record holder for “most days able to survive without water” - 74.
The fatty bulbs of the body can each store a sizeable amount of water, which is useful as their homeworld only receives rain twice a year.

A prominent scientist from a nearby planet has theorised that if all the pentabulbicuses were exterminated their homeworld would be much more suitable for colonisation as he has predicted the rainfall would increase tenfold.
Despite the scientist’s compatriots having engaged in genocide before, even they have been unable to stomach killing even a single pentabulbicus. They’re just so cute!

Notes:
The section of the description that starts at the “prominent scientist” is all bonus content that couldn’t fit on the standard edition of the creature, or “The One That’s On The Sporepedia.” Pesky character limits!

After writing about Knobblyhead yesterday I wanted to revisit the whole “blobby body, skinny neck” thing and so today I created Pentabulbicus!
Originally it was going to be called Tribulbicus, but he has bulby thighs too, so that didn’t seem right.
