Notes:
Yes, I really created this in under 5 minutes! It was around 4 minutes, in fact. I was making lunch in the microwave at the time!
Essentially what I wanted to do was see if you could create any sort of reasonable looking creature in a very short space of time. Obviously the Blue Hurrr isn’t going to win me any awards but considering the time restraint I think he looks pretty good.

If you’re downloading some of my creatures to check out in the creator I can recommend watching this guy sing. ;-)

My first creature (Kadelor) was slapped together and painted in about 5 minutes. I think the Maxis team hit their goals quite well in terms of anyone being able to pass something reasonable out that quickly. I'm wouldn't call myself an artist by any definition, but the editor is great that way: 5 minutes or 5 hours and you think you've got a masterpiece. What everyone else thinks is another matter, hehe. :-P

I think that is one of the great things about the editor. Especially after a little experience with it, you can throw something passable together in under 5 minutes. Sometimes I will do that and then just start tweaking it and making changes and come out with something that I really like.
