Notes:
I was checking out some leaked screenshots for the Warhammer Online beta and came across some really nice goblin-looking dudes and thought to myself, “Self, you need a goblin looking Spore creature!”

And so I made one!

He does look sort of like a turtle, but a fairly gnarly one. However he doesn’t look quite goblin-y enough either, so I didn’t call him a specifically goblin name.

One interesting thing I did find is that you can change some of the accent colours by using the second and third layers without choosing a specific texture. I did know that before but I was surprised how small differences can change the look of the creature to be much better than without the colour tweaks.

I have noticed myself recently thinking, on seeing an animal, character or some object, "Yeah, I can see how that could be done in Spore-CC". I must be spending too much time in there. Next I will be dreaming of stuff in the Spore art style!

In reference to the creature painting: my two versions of the Z'Eleron creature shows the difference between having texture and colour and not - the black creature just has the (3rd layer) colour applied with no texture (so the armour trim is gold). Haven't thought much of this since either.

Mythor, you should make a creator tip for this ;-)
