Notes:
Very simple creature today. Has very long, multi-jointed arms to make him look funkier while dancing. You might even say he looks sort of groovy.
And he’s a very bright pink, isn’t he?
That was all the subtlety I have for you today. You’ll have to come back tomorrow to see what it’s all about…
Ran into an interesting popup today while creating my inevitable daily creature…
Too many? Inconceivable! You can never have too many photos of anything! </photographic geek>
For those wondering about the magic number, I had around 200 files in the saved pictures folder at the time. That’s not 200 photos though as each shot creates two files, typically.
Given the creativity sure to be inspired by the Creator it seems a little odd that such a small limitation would be placed on the number of pictures you are able to take.
Has anyone else run into any strange limitations such as this? And has anyone downloaded the patch that is available (thanks, Jube) and found the limitation removed?
And because that isn’t enough questions, has anyone patched the game and had it still work fine afterwards? Wydraz on the Spores Illustrated forums posted a warning that there are some issues…
And I know I didn’t post a challenge last week but you’ll probably want to be sure to check in for this Friday’s challenge… I will (hopefully) have something a little special this week.
Description: Once upon a time the Whipwoo were able to whip their headtail out to stun enemies but over time this ability has become more and more rare in the species, though it is not clear why.
Notes:
Ordinarily when I create a tail it is made out of limb segments. Not this time! It’s simply a very elongated spine. I was going to try doing something fancy but when I dragged the spine out I just liked the look of it…
I’m not real sold on the paintjob, but I fiddled with a variety of different ones for a couple of minutes and didn’t like anything any more than one of the defaults, so I went with that.
Notes:
It isn’t so much that I’m out of ideas as it is that it is becoming a grind to do this every day. If I wasn’t posting here I suspect I would have stopped daily creations about 2 weeks ago!
This guy originally had a shorter leg, but that was making him walk badly. Then I added some extra joints and made the leg bend forward and now he walks okay!
